Your Impact as Process Research and Development Fellow

  • Coordinating capability-build activities and training for the community within CatSci Scientific Operations dedicated to drug substance process design.
  • Liaising with Technical Directors to help operationalise their vision for process design within CatSci. This will involve contributing to business cases around how improvements will contribute to the achievement of business goals.
  • Developing and making available new knowledge and technology within the area of process design
  • Working directly on one or more customer projects focused on process design.
  • Proactively providing technical guidance, challenge and problem solving to customer projects focused on process design and supporting proposals for new projects.
  • Be a positive advocate for new technology, process improvements and for the application of digital design approaches.
  • Ensuring the work of self and others is performed in accordance with appropriate Safety, Health & Environment, quality and compliance standards.

Requirements for Process Research and Development Fellow

To be considered for this role, you should have a PhD in chemistry or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in process research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. You should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams of chemists in developing and optimising pharmaceutical processes. You should possess strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on.

  • Competitive salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience + negotiable)
